Must admit he'd be a ripper and have thought the same. They have a few quality insiders and need some outside run. Lyon would really rate him. I don't think you are getting a direct swap for a running player but you never know. It's a good one.

Larkin I'm with you on this one. Angus and Andrew would give us a stronger midfield for sure. Here's a more contentious suggestion bring Hamish across from WCE where he can't get a game in the ones but I've noticed is doing very well in the twos. Let's start a Brayshaw dynasty at the Dockers. We could have had a Hill (Stephen, Brad and Bobby) dynasty but that seems to be gone at this stage.

I picked him for my DuFFLe team this year - he's been hopeless. He doesn't get many possessions, doesn't tackle, gets only a couple of marks and hardly gets any shots on goal or goals. To be honest, I'm not sure what he's good at anymore.

He's got a helmet...um, he's got a couple of brothers...and, um...he can chip in on podcasts about footy.

Sounds like your DUFFLE team could use a new coach, Polly

If Langdon wants to go to Melbourne maybe some sort of trade to land Angus in Purple but there seems to be a feeling that Melbourne may try to get Ed in the pre season draft where they will have Pick 2.

Angus is someone I've always watched carefully over the past few years because I like the way he can play. At his best last season he was a great inside mid who could also kick the ball beautifully and run hard to create options and be a target on the outside.

This year with the return of Viney, he seems to have pushed to a tagging role at times before playing periods as an outside runner due to the number of quality inside mids Melbourne has. This hasn't suited him and he's been easily shut down and for reasons that aren't apparent to me watching on TV, not being used on the outside. His disposal has also dropped off this year with some pretty average kicking at times which may have impacted the faith of his teammates using him to deliver forward.

Last season at his best, he was one of Melbourne's prime movers who they tried to get the ball to. Whatever has happened to him this season, I still see great value in him and would be happy to swap him for Langdon (I can't see Melbourne being happy with that trade). At just 23 years old, he has a lot of time and improvement left and I see far more upside in him than Langdon.

There's a reason he finished 3rd last year in the brownlow on 21 votes as a 22yo. He could be a gun and is worth more than Kelly for mine.
Nathan: When did you get balls?
Simon: I've always had balls you've just never seen them.
Nathan: That's the gayest thing I've ever heard.

I'm still looking for the source, but a potential move by Angus westwards was comprehensively nixed a few weeks ago. FWIW.

He signed a 4 year deal late last year but I don't know if there's been any talk this year. His poor form may have opened the door to Melbourne being willing to offload him for outside run but I doubt it.

I remember reading this article a month ago and thinking I'd probably prefer to hold our draft pick rather than trade for Brayshaw but if it were Langdon and a low pick then I might consider it (we'd have to keep both Hill's though).
