The Slime are riding on a wave of some extraordinary luck. Going back to the last game when they beat Adl at Subi. Don Pyke and his team had nothing that play for, leaving Talia and Walker out. While they were competitive, Adl did enough to stay injury free and they fell in the 8 by 0.5%. Both Crouch Bros had 40+ disposals but had little impact. Fast Forward to Sat. Night, Port won every statistical measure bar clearances but managed to lose on a dubious free kick. They're relying heavily on 3 pensioners, Petrie and co, which is quite damning for their future. While GWS have lost Cameron and Mumford, I see that as a positive. The Slime are running on empty and running out of luck. They're hoping on a bird on Thurs, and most will struggle to get up. It's a long flight. They'll talk up how ready they'll be but playing GWS in Sydney is a whole new ball game. And GWS have too much to play for being the AFL's love child. And their running power will end all the shaninigans that is going on in this city right now.
