I don't mind Dawson, but he just wouldn't pick the ball up. Totally dedicated to paddling it in the direction of the boundary line. He's good enough to take players on, but just seems to lack the confidence to do it.

And there is too much lack of confidence right now. Imagine how Ibbo, Subes, Mzungu and De Boer feel. Knowing that Ross doesn't think they are good enough to play today. Ross, this is the key thing you have to fix now.

Honestly, the signs were there in the preseason - then Rounds 1-4. It has got worse, you have to wonder why all those coaches refused to see what everyone else knows. Now we lose at home to the what most people thought were the worst team and Freo Central Control have woken up? Mule was right - spill the lot.

Zac has been fine. Kept Boyd to 1 goal in rd 1, kennedy to 1 goal in rd 3, and Petrie and Casboult today to doughnuts. The only one that did well on him was Lynch, but the way the ball was getting delivered to him on a silver platter after our midfielder turnovers, the best full back in the universe would have struggled. Zac has actually been solid, and the least of our concerns...

Sutcliffe and Sheridan are complete liabilities. I don't give a shit if they get a few touches, they simply turn the ball over too frequently and do not pressure the man enough. A second gamer in Brady Gray showed these two guys today the sort of attack that is necessary in a contest.

Danyle Pearce, Chris Mayne, Tabs should all be equally put on notice. What Zac Clark was doing out there today exactly has me beat.

I honestly think bring back Langdon - who should have never been dropped in the first place. Bring in Collins, Blakely and Ethan Hughes. If Mora keeps going well, bring him in. Then keep these guys in for a while to build their match capacity and confidence at this level.

Grey and Tucker were great today. By blooding new guys, we could unearth a couple of rippers. Add that to getting back Fyfe, Mundy, Sandi, Bennell and maybe a little x-factor from someone like Yarran, and it may not be all doom and gloom...

Ballas for me is really struggling and just makes stupid decisions. He needs a run back at Peel

Time to get blakely , Hughes in there and see what they can do.

Could be the season we needed to see some of our young guys Out there and if there good enough

Sorry, gotta agree about Ballas. Love his effort when his mind is on the ball. But he just can't keep away from the cheapies. Gives Gibbs a quick jab as he runs past him. People in the crowd say Gibbs milked it, but the point is, just DON"T do it. The ump had a direct view, gave the free kick to Gibbs, which led directly to a goal. There are some things you can't control in footy, but you can control these sorts of actions.
