Gone are the days when you could start up
a rumour about a straight swap and have it believed, anyone
can come up with two players names and call it a trade.
Your modern footy rumour has to involve at least 3 players
if anyone is going to believe you have "inside information".
The Auto Trader takes this into account and with the simple
click of a button you can have a four way trade worked
out and ready to spread on the internet - Adrian Barrich
is believed to have been using a similar system for years
(although his involves a flat round computer and three
pointy ended mouses).
All you have to do is type in the name of
the player you want at the centre of the trade, then the
club you want him traded to, hit the trade button and
the computer does the rest (or if you want to unload a
player just type in his name and hit trade)
Eg. If you wanted to see James Hird playing at Fremantle
next season you would type in James Hird, select Fremantle
from the pull down menu and hit the trade button. It's
almost as easy as getting punched by an Eagle at Club
Bay View.
