Whose side are you on boys?
Well after the shamble performance the ALP put in over the last month...the inevitable happened and we lost our Freo loving Premier.

So whose side is Barnett on? From his demeanour I would think he knows little about footy and be more inclined to be sipping chardonnay and reading the Sunday Slimes liftouts, then follow the purple army. So that would make him a blue and yellow budgie. Anyone know differently?

Barnett played Reserves for Claremont about 35-40 years ago. Have seen him watching Claremont at WAFl games this season!

Re:Whose side are you on boys?
Barnett and sport - as likely a pairing as Pauline Hanson and ballet.

To quote the People's front of Judea, in purely footy terms, what has Carps ever done for us?

Re:Whose side are you on boys?
What's Carps done for the Dockers? Stood up in parliament and declared that the Longmire after-siren kick to beat St Kilda a few years ago was "better than sex" (or words to that effect.) On other occasions, I've heard him talk up the Dockers quite a bit, snippets here and there in the news.

BTW, when the Dockers played Melbourne in the finals a few years ago, he had a seat which I thought was quite poor - considering he could have pulled a few strings to sit in a much better position, I think he preferred to sit with real fans.

Finally, he built a train line so that us in the southern suburbs could catch a train directly to West Leederville and back after the game.

Re:Whose side are you on boys?
Carps publicly supported the Evils in 2006 GF! Wore an Evils tie on the day. I have never forgiven him for compromising his so-called dedication to the Dockers by supporting the drug cheats as it turned out for obvious political reasons.

Re:Whose side are you on boys?
He bought me and my friends a round at The Duke of Wellington in Melbourne pre-game a couple of years ago... didn't need any more prompting after finding out we were chalkies...
