Does that mean he has to repay us for his surgery?

Re:Warnock Wants To Go Home
Pav into the centre. Warnock to Carlton. Jeff Farmer given the boot.

It all makes sense now. We're getting Fevola. Someone keep an eye on the Hilton Park sex shop, if he's in town that's where he'll be.

Re:Warnock Wants To Go Home
I'm disappointed but life goes on. I would assume he wants to go to Melbourne. I'd be asking for Melbourne's first priority pick whatever that is - pick 17?

Re:Warnock Wants To Go Home
Not necessarily to the Melbourne Football Club...

Robert said the decision to return home was an extremely difficult one. “I have enjoyed my time at the club and with the playing group and coaches immensely, so it is a very tough decision to leave,” he said. “I believe that Fremantle is on the right track and has a bright future but this is simply a personal decision to head home to be closer to my family in Melbourne. “My management will be working proactively with the club to secure the best possible result for Fremantle.

From the FFC article.

Re:Warnock Wants To Go Home
he just says melbourne the town, not the footy club.
He will be better off in a trade so that the highest salary can be negotiated.

Re:Warnock Wants To Go Home
Matty T can you explain what you mean about salary?

And surely he is worth more than a second round pick.

Quel bummeur.

Big loss, I feel. He has something of the mongrel in him that Sandy may be lacking. A career worth watching.

Booworthy decision, young man.

I agree Stevadore, ....except for the booing. We just need good compensation for him.

Re:Warnock Wants To Go Home
Wonder if Carlton would give up their first pick?

Re:Warnock Wants To Go Home
Given that Carlton's window for a premiership is now, a ready made ruck with 3 years of development would be very handy.

Re:Warnock Wants To Go Home
Big girls blouse is about all I can say about the bloke.
Definitely boo worthy.
As said earlier at least he hasn't nominated a club & hopefully a good bidding war works out in our favour.

From Melbourne I would favour either a straight swap for Cale Morton or swap our pick 3 for their pick 1 & also get their 2nd round priority pick.
We would then get Naitinui & they would still get Watts as the Eagles wont take him.

From Carlton we would ask for a 1st round pick & the same from Richmond.

If we lose Mundy, which I hope we don't , then I fear we wont get much for him. A 2nd rounder at best.

Collingwood gave up Pick 14 for this bloke:

The precedent has been set.

Warnock's a sooky mansierre wearing Jeff White wannabe.

Re:Warnock Wants To Go Home
Can't blame him for wanting to be near family. He's just lucky there are 10 teams in Melbourne so he has a luxury not afforded to guys from other states. The whole draft system is fundamentally compromised in any case, this is just the cherry on the icing on the cake.
