As this is supposedly the best draft in ages (well since the 2000? one with Judd etc.), i doubt that any club will be willing to give up their first round pick - at all. Especially when the gold coast side gets picks 1,2,3,5,7,9,11,13,15 in 2010. That means that clubs will want to pick up some quality kids now.
On Warnock specifically, I don't think that anyone would give up a first round pick for him either, despite his quality. Second round probably. On that note, Melbourne's priority pick between the 1st two rounds could be a possibility?
1) Warnock will be back home, and with his brother - good for him 2) Melbourne don't give up the 1st overall pick - good for them 3) Melbourne get a ruckman - good for them 4) We get a high pick, I think before the slime. Good for us.
If they're willing, and Warnock wants to go doesn't mind going to such a useless side, then it's win-win-win...
