Re:relevant?
Maybe not all 15 but we certainly know what the mob up the road stand for.
As far as news in WA goes I'd rather watch Alicia Gorey than the clowns on the commercial stations.

Re:relevant?
I missed that interview on Monday night and was told that Harvey didnt come across well....now having watched it I think he was great. He never sherked an issue, he gave straight answers, took responsibility and showed determination to fix it. he was under a fair bit of duress from those guys and I like the way he tackled it. Its a big change watching your coach give short straight to the point answers from circle and garbage that Chris Connolly used to talk each week.

Sounds like they have been receiving publicity management advice from the Burmese government.

Re:relevant?
I for one have had a gutfull of this. So why is it that we don't deserve to be in the competition? Didn't it take Sydney/South Melbourne about 70 yrs to win a premiership and what about Geelong? Do St Kilda and most recently Richmond still deserve a license if you follow his logic. Don't get me started on the Kangaroos and Melbourne!!!

43 000 of us (the third highest membership in the AFL) seem to think we are relevant.

Media ban - they can go and get stuffed!! Why should we respond to this drivel.

He doesn't mind repeating himself (still makes no sense)

He's going for the Hackdorn as its the only media related award he can win.

Re:relevant?
What I want to know is what happened to the inquiry about the state of Victorian Football.

It doesn't seam that long ago that they were whinging they couldn't win a flag.

Having said that what do St K stand for 1 flag in 110 year 38% winning ratio

Re:relevant?
For me Walls won the Hackdorn on Saturday afternoon whilst offering "special comments" on the Hawks v Pies game. Walls spoke glowingly on too many occasions for me to count (I suspect there were also physical movements happening but don't think about that) about Alistair Clarkson being happy for his players to miss the odd week of footy due to suspension if it meant that they were imposing their physical presence on the game etc... He said it so many times it made me sick. As a classic example of Clarksonism think Jordan Lewis. Walls would play him every week (except he wouldn't play every week....).

Of course, if it was J Carr or J Farmer imposing their physical presence on the game and getting suspended those players would be irresponsible, putting themselves before the club etc... and our club and its head coach would be a disgrace for not pulling them aside and telling them to pull their heads in etc...

And so we get to "On the Couch" - J Carr cost us 8 premiership points apparently. I haven't checked but I'm very confident that in some of the games in the past 2 seasons in which Jordan Lewis, Mitchell, Crawford, Brown, Hodge etc.... have been suspended the Hawks have lost. Does Walls get on his high horse and have a crack at those players (and that club) regarding suspensions and not playing the ball and costing premiership points? Of course not.

Walls (and others of his ilk like Butler and Hackdorn) pick on us because it's easy. As the previous poster pointed out - if the same crap being meted out to Fremantle at the moment was meted out to St Kilda they would have been kicked out of the competition way before their only flag in 1966.

Re:relevant?
This is Walls way of throwing us in the ring and encouraging everyone to beat us up. Those who coach do and those who can't end up in the media. His double standards make me sick.

Re:relevant?
Good pick up Flag 2005 - the double standards are gobsmackingly nauseating. As an aside, in 2005 and 2006 I think you'll find the Swans were right up there in both reports/suspensions and free kicks against.

Thanks Guy you say what I try to.
The scorn on Harvey's face was nice to see.
The petulance on the little man sheehan's face was funny to see given that he was accusing Harvey of being ' petulant ' toward the media.
