My initial thoughts were that Zoltan Kovaks was just Monkey Butler writing under pseudnym, but now all is revealed....he is actually a cult leader. "The Messenger", no less. It was great of him to take time out from his day job of building a space ship and mass-marrying followers to chime in on the Dockers woes.
Now Muppett (if indeed that is your real name) I think it is admirable for you to stick up for your leader, this "Messenger" fellow, and you also appear to have done a wee bit of research on the Dockers, which puts you ahead of most footy journalists, but sadly this good work is tragically undone by few fundamental flaws.
a) you have compared us in a less than favourable light with both West Coast and Port Adelaide, and claimed to be a Dockers supporter. These two facts are highly incongruous.
b)The only tradition born "out of adversity, board room struggles and years of pain" is that of finishing 9th. just ask Richmond supporters. Actually, ask any coach in the league if he wanted a stable board or a board that quits or sacks each other after a few losses and they'll laugh and make fun of Melbourne.
c)West Coast won because they had a few great players. Port won because they had a good team. For a while we won because we had lots of quite good players, but we just weren't good enough to win the whole thing. it has very little to do with culture, boards, governments, and a lot to do with football things like our midfiled being a little slow.
d) A bunch of other stuff i could write but i'm too tired of having to defend the club against Eagles fans who like to pretend they're are experts on what's wrong with the Dockers.
P.S. Kevin Sheehy used to talk about martians. Does your Messenger know anything about these?
