Re:Maccas on board
Great news to see two of our soldiers (both with very different stories) still with us.

If Walls can't figure out what we stand for these two fella's
can point him in the right direction

How many knee reconstructions between Walker, Macca and Webster?

I reckon nine!

Maybe they can all serve as a cautionary tale.

Re:Maccas on board
I guess this means we have to cheer Macca again when he wanders out with all those other management persons to supervise the pre-game exercises. Standing around chatting with hands in pockets and hoping he looks like he still has got something serious to do out there.

Re:Maccas on board
not malaxos, he points. and talks. and points some more. he should be head coach as he points better than anyone else. there are a lot of people running around freo in slacks and bad freo polo shirt.

Re:Maccas on board
Macca bleeds for the club - in my view, there isn't a better motivator to instill 'the club' in the new guys. Webby will cover the other side - he will help them become the people that they should be (as well as footballers) - he never put a foot wrong and will help the guys enormously. The two of them pushed the envelope as far as it would stretch - well beyond what their bodies should suffer in a football career.

In a word, what they acquired with Macca and Webby was character - it is a great move by the club (after a year of very bad ones).

Re:Maccas on board
So, all we need now is for Jeff to get some sort of mentoring role for all those small, crumbing forwards we are about to recruit.

Oh, and the WAFC to come up with a quality control policy on the use of chicken salt shakers at all WAFL games.

Re:Maccas on board
Someone should have a look at the number of slacks and bad polo's in Freo though... as Lemon says, there's a lot of it around. If I see Macca wearing anything but boardies and purple Clogs in town I'll be shaking chicken salt all over South Terrace in protest.

Even if it rains.
