GS - the media will always spin the negative whenever covering the Dockers. The West uses the word "relented" re the Warnock trade. The fact is the Dockers actually got more in the end than what Carlton were offering. Two draft picks rather than the one being offered or nothing as the press kept hammering out over an over. In comparison with other trades I think the Dockers did OK. Not perfect but they were far from dudded. The Carr situation will be interesting. If Josh wants to screw the club then the club should plan to screw him.

I'm still seething at Basil and the way he very subtly bags Freo at every opportunity. The latest being when he gloated that the crowd at the "Chris Mainwaring" tribute match was greater than at the Fremantle v Melbourne match. Geez I hate that guy!

I really don't mind the WA media, since not buying the WA rag, Sunday slime or watch any sport news. Get all I want here and more even if it is bias here, it still doesn't match the bias of our WA media.

Biased, on here? Perish the thought. This is 'dockerland', which has got the same number of letters as 'fair minded'.

However, 'The West Australian', I hasten to point out, has got the same number of letters as 'Liars Incorporated'.

The thing that really irks me is the media line us up time and time again for a kicking over "bad" trade/drafting decisions, yet on this one Bondy and crew dug in trying to do the best for THEIR club.

Yet the media (ie 7 & 6PR) seemed to side with Carlton, decided Warnock was worth Carlton's FIRST offer and Freo were fools for disagreeing.

Yet when we got more than Carlton's initial offer, FREO GAVE IN !

Err ... didn't Carlton give in to our demands and offer us more ? Like we wanted ?
