Hopefully we will have the Pav for some time to come. Take the club to its first premiership and win the Brownlow. Like the article says the Pav as a midfielder (comparable to Goodes) will help us greatly and also his chances of winning the Brownlow. I guess all this can happen because we could have 3 tall forwards doing the job next season - Tarrant, Campbell (really showed his worth at the end of the season) and Murphy. Touch wood we can keep Warnock and Mundy.

Pav in the middle is my least favourite thing. The man is a goal kicking machine that few forwards can negate, and Harvey saying he'll spend more time in the centre next year, only suggests we're leaking badly there.
His strategy could be to bolster the midfield, with a fit Hase, Headland, Pavlich and Palmer winning more clearance and kicking more goals themselves, and when they can't, providing better delivery to our forwards. Although if murphy is still there he'll need to get it straight in front from 10m out.

Dunno Drubbing... my impression is Pav starting in the middle soon means big goals being scored, he just follows the thing forward and does his thing anyway.
My guess is we're finally about to see make the Hird position the Pav position.

Sharksman, Pav spent a lot of time in the middle this year, but his goal average was the highest for his career and he kicked his 3rd highest tally.
I don't think we need to worry too much about where Pav plays. He will have an impact regardless.
