OK it is very much an exaggeration but with the Warnock moving back home and Carr abandoning us, a lot must be said for the efforts of Mundy to re-sign with us. He might not run like the wind, or at least appear that way, but he could have easily named his price, nominated a Melbourne club of choice and let Freo get screwed over.
There would have been a lot more pressure applied to Fremantle if they were potentially losing 2 up and coming players for nothing. Carr was definitely fading away from our best 22 so he was not such a great loss.
So lets hear it for Mundy. Hip, Hip... Hooray!
Cheesy I know but I think he deserves some congratulations.
