I don't know what else to say PATHETIC or maybe DISGRACEFUL. I can't believe it, to throw the game away!! There is no excuses for the guys and they should be ashamed!! I have been a loyal supporter since the beginning but never have i felt this low about 22 guys who put on the Freo guernsey today!!

I just fail to understand how we could get so bad as this. What is Harvey going to have to do to get this mob to find some guts. Then again they didn't even have the stamina to keep up with Melbourne... I know they didn't have Roger and Des etc but still an all just to throw it away by not playing man on man and following basic football rules beggars belief. The other week I thought about handing my plates in but didn't. My reaction today was that enough is enough and I'm handing them in. BUT guess what? like the rest of you mugs in here I'll be keeping them and hoping that most all of the players will follow Pav's, Solly's Martins and Ibbotsons examples and try to lift their games. Tarrant was good and showed he is on the way back and I missed MacPharlan he was good also but why he wasn't moved back on to Robertson is anyone's guess. I could go on but I'm really too disappointed today. Doesn't this team have any pride at all ???

I have never been one for a coach to criticise his players openly but Harves must!! I felt after the Richmond game Harves should have made every player move throughout the crowd and appologise for their dismal performance!! Sit them in the middle of Subi and take a good hard look at themselves and their LOYAL fans.

I'm the same Normy he has to get out there and get up them, start taking them off for their stupid mistakes and lack of passion. BUT these players are taking the p... out of us fans who have supported them, in my case at least from the start. In another post I stated that we are to blame as much as anyone for putting up with this crap for so long.

I feel like the spurned partner in a deceitful relationship. Cheated & devasted! I think I will need some time on the psychologist's couch to even get me back to another game.
I would strongly suggest the FFC use the same rehabilitation process to try and teach there players to hold there nerve, think more clearly and not panic when under scoreboad attack.
To lose such a lead in that manner defies belief.

My Freo Game Day Shirt is on the floor, where I threw it yesterday. It is collecting a nice covering of sawdust and wood shavings. It will stay there and get as dirty as it will until the team wins a string of at least three games in a row AND gets a solid victory where they hold on to win after losing the lead. Snare a victory from the jaws of defeat.
The shirt could be there until next season.

Mr Smiley I find this year and last a bit harder to handle than 'the good ol days' of Clive and Winston. In the old days the club was in a rabble in many regards, players were leaving and the list was never really settled. Since 2005 or therabouts there has been hope, the list has been more stable, the younger guys have shown promise, better players have shown faith and rsigned, and the team got on a roll in 2006. Now our 2008 is on life support after a bit of a no-show 2007. This is a club and a team that should be able to be competetive, but it's not.. 2006 was just a cruel carrot being waved in front of the supporters. To make the finals you have to be in the top half.. HALF.. of the competition.

Thanks, Guy.
Another big dip in the rollercoaster of the Freo supporter. All part of life's rich pageant.

Based on FFC history, I'm sorry Albania, that shirt could be there for decades.

Guy I have supported Freo from the start but this group has potential that they are not using. They played their best half of footy at the MCG and then their worst in almost the history of the club. This is not good enough - yes we have had hard times before but not with a playing group which promises so much like this one!!

Beyond pathetic really. Had some Melbourne supporters sitting near me walk out at half time to go across town and watch the Essendon versus Port game. They had had enough. How wrong they were.

Freo have helped another team reach a milestone in their history. Melbourne have never come back from such a large deficit.
As Guy points out, losing games we should win is all part and parcel of supporting Freo, I just wish that we weren't featured so predominantly in so many other club's records (e.g. biggest winning margin, biggest comeback etc).

We add the Melbourne game to the Fitzroy game.
Fitzroy won their last ever AFL game Fitz 16.11.107 d Fremantle 10.16.76 at the Western Oval. (Ironically Fremantle won their first ever game against Fitzroy in 1995).
And how crap were Fitzroy? So bad they shut shop!

Well I have seen Freo play some pretty bad football over the past 12 odd years but just when I thought I had seen it all I was witess to the single worst loss in our history.
This was by far our most inglorious defeat. It was the most disgraceful and most disrespectful loss they have ever dished up.
You really do have to wonder where this club is going.
I feel sorry for poor old Mark Harvey and Matthew Pavlich. Both men are sacrificing their careers and potential premierships by being at Freo.
Losses in the past have hurt but this one was a massive kick in the nuts. I feel empty. Like there is no light at the end of the tunnel for our club.
I know it doesn't compare but being a Dockers member is like being in a violent relationship where you keep getting beaten up by your drunk partner.
You know you shouldn't go back but you do because you think things will change. But they don't. They just don't.
Yes, I will be there this Sunday. Why? I have no idea....
