Re:Nothing new here
Our ineffective tackling has made me quite emotional for sometime now. Sick of watching Schammer, Thornton, Johno et slip off their opponent who runs away barely even hindered.

Re:Nothing new here
Nice edit Shane !!

I don't think I've ever described myself as 'quite emotional' before !

Don't go letting things as ambiguous as facts getting in the way of randomly slagging someone off.

Re:Nothing new here
The roughing up of Palmer and Mayne at the start of the game has become a 'standard' tactic by all the teams we've faced in the second half of the season. It must be the opening chapter in the 'How to Rattle the Dockers' play book - I wonder who the author is?

Mayne, in particular, has copped a fair amount too often - is this a job for the Kiwi to sort out?

Re:Nothing new here
I agree that there is very little to be gained by slowing the game down in the last couple of minutes of a quarter - all that happens is you lose momentum, and hope to hang on. Nothing frustrates me more than when we have a lead and then lose all momentum and try to hold onto the ball in those last couples of minutes - our confidence is fragile as it is, and we need to keep the ball moving. This comes down directly to Mark Harvey, and I have no idea why he instructs the players to do it.

Re:Nothing new here
I'm not so sure. If we have it with less than two minutes to go maybe we should make sure that we keep it. Besides we should do to them first what they will try to do to us./
