Luke Webster
Goodish news.

He had the controversial new operation that the sydney bloke had and he's walking around and looks more comfortable and is in less knee support than Hase at this point. He said at this point the surgery has been a success and is looking good.

still dont know what is going to happen tho.

Hopefully the club will hand out goggles to anyone running behind him.

If that thing snap it'll take your eye out.

Why didn't Hase have the controversial new operation?

Re:Luke Webster
Latest from the local news is that the recovery is going so well Luke is looking forward to a return in round 12.

Has anybody else heard this? Nothing I can see mentioned anywhere else.

Re:Luke Webster
I think Hase didn't have the operation because Jordo forbade it. She likes her men to be captive.

Re:Luke Webster
I saw it on channel 7, 9 or 10 (can't remember now) and they spoke with Luke and he is aiming for round 12, but nothing is for sure. Also said he felt for Hase cos he had his knee done 2 months after Hase, but has already caught up with him in rehab. He is started to run again now. Lets hope everything goes well for the remainder of Luke's recovery and he can be back on the field for us in the second half of the season!

Also - apparently Hase's knee was more damaged than Luke's so the new surgery was not viable. Luke thought that with his injury problems it would be difficult for Freo to offer him another contract beyond this year if he had the traditional op.
