Well being at the game was hard. Just went onto the ground to find every Freo supporter I could and try to understand why???????

Any of you frustrated gardeners are welcome to come to my house and pull weeds to your hearts content. I'll be inside drinking straight Tequila wondering how everything went pear shaped for our mob in such a short time. Chardonnay just won't do anymore.

I still cant believe it I left work at half time 50 pts up and kill time for the end of the game because my husband was taping it for me and miss judge time and turned tv on to see we were 8 pts behind - wtf? what happened?

im not much for pulling weeds. killing plants just wasn't going to do it for me. neither was consoling myself by thinking of the egirls current situation.

Well, I was gutted like everyone else. Then I looked at the ladder and saw two things. One, we're still above the other mob. Two, we are still only two games out of the eight. Long way to go this season and remember we are the Dockers so anything can happen!

I'm not sure I want to deal with it. Someone else is paid to do that. I'm just going to lie back on the rusty barbs of the rollercoaster couch and wait to see what happens next.

By hurrying out of the MCG - yep - I was there - a total embaressment - thankfully the Dees supporters were so stunned that their team won that they weren't rubbing my nose in our loss..
Thank god for the Bees Neeez Beer I had in the fridge to remind me that good things do come out of my beloved home state...

As bad as the loss was just remember we are Dockers' supporters and as such we will take the comments on the chin and continue to support our team.

That is how to cope with the predictable comments which will spring forth from the weagles' supporters. We will completely confused by being able to continue to support them rather than turn on the team a la the chardonnay set supporters.

The other positive is that we must be absolute certainties against the bulldogs in two weeks time.

Turned the mobile OFF, went straight out to the movies (Iron Man). I'm sure there were a few other Freo faithful in the cinema appreciating the dark along with me. Have avoided the television and newspaper since.
