Ex-Dockers in the Media
I was enjoying the Ben Allen article in todays Worst when I started to think, how many ex-Dockers are in the media?

Every game broadcast, be it TV or radio we are bombarded by the so-called expert comments of washed up Weagles but I have never heard from an ex-Docker. This is further emphasised when you listen to the sports talkback programmes which are over-flowing with blue and gold bias.

I think its time to bring some of the old crew back to see what they have to say. I'd definantly tune in to hear what Clive, Stephen O'Reilly, Cookie or even my all time favourite Peter Mann have to say. It would make much better listening than the tripe served up by Slappo and co.

Clive in the media. No way! hes probably doing much important and respectful things such as being a rocket scientist, brain surgeon or finding a cure for cancer.

I would listen to him though. Hopefully next year when he's finished those projects.

Re:Ex-Dockers in the Media
Chuck, i agree, but i imagine it is much easier for these clowns to get these gigs if "premiership player" comes before their name, hence ruling former Freo players out of the equation. It doesn't seem to matter if they didn't really contribute anything to said premiership (Banfield) or can even pronounce 'premiership' (Jackovich), just as long as someone can introduce them as 'premiership player suchandsuch' before explaining how undisciplined Freo are.

Macca surely will get a gig somewhere (in a few years time). He's been good with the mike when I've heard him.

Re:Ex-Dockers in the Media
Can you sack someone before they have actually started work?

Re:Ex-Dockers in the Media
If you look at Walls' record as a coach, you'll find they did.
