Epiphany
Something has just dawned on me. We was robbed...again.

There's a lot of pain around Fremantle at the moment, a lot of people are talking about starting the hundred year plan all over again, axing players, playing teenagers, electing members, rebadging the club and so forth but if the bloody umpire did his job and picked up the throw that got the ball to Robertson that kicked the winning goal, there wouldn't be a problem.

Mr Squiggle could have seen that throw from his rocket ship on its way to the moon and, not only is that a few hundred thousand kilometres away, he's only got that tiny window and most of that is blocked by his nose. How could you possibly not see it?

Two weeks in a row, the umpires have robbed us in the last minutes of the game. They're the ones with the culture problem. They've got a culture of having no idea. It's a disgrace.

Give us our 8 points back (and I beleive there are a few apologies due).

Re:Epiphany
F%$K it! We need to just let it go, we're definitely not getting our 8 points back and while I agree that we've been robbed, frustration over injustices on top of all the other emotions we're dealing with is just going to make things worse.

Re:Epiphany
Is it permissible to explain the point that was missed? One simple word! Or is it more fun just to run with it?

Re:Epiphany
I'm not one for letting things go. I'm still waiting for the points from the game where Peter Carey marked Fetcher's ball.

I got a petition up, and this would be a great time to add to the two signatures I got from shane and lemon from all those years ago, and get this thing cranking again.

Re:Epiphany
If Pat Smith can cite Brodie Holland as a reason for Fremantle letting Melbourne get a run on last week then I can't see why Peter Carey shouldn't shoulder some of the blame the other way.

Absolutely robbed.

Happy never ceases to amaze me - all over the guy and can still pick a few Chuck Berry licks while watching the ball sprong out...

Re:Epiphany
There you go, bloody Gilmore again. Even his last kick of the game lace out into the fifty, a perfect pass and the guy drops it. Two perfect executions (the kick and the tackle) and we still lose.
At the end of the first quarters the last two weeks I though - those missed shots on goals, those points that should have been easy goals ... could be costly ....and our whole universe would look so might brighter. We'd still be talking FINALS the old guys would be feeling comfortable and the rookies even those that didn't play well would be looking at another game without too much pressure.
But I'm still wondering why when it appeared Schammer was looking ok back in defence was he not left there or even moved back when Bob couldn't handle his job?
