Carlton were just too good for us today. They were the better team all day, but we still managed to get the lead in the last quarter. The guys did well to stay in the match, but in the end Carlton were just too good.

We are relying too heavily on the young guys in Palmer and Ibbotson. It shouldn't be up to them, guys like Bell, Mundy, Schammer, Thornton and Peake need to step up a lot. And we have to really work on our stoppages, Sandilands is dominating the hitouts but we aren't getting any clearances.

There were still some positives from this match. Ibbo and Palmer are absolute stars, and Sandilands is easily the best ruckman in the AFL. Crowley is shaping as one of the premier taggers in the competition. Kepler has been great in his two games, and Tarrant looks back to his best form. It was good to see Mayne back, and he will only get better. And Pavlich is always great, he kicked 4 goals so don't blame him just for his two misses.

The last few games have been bad loses, but it's not all negative. There will have to be some more changes to the team, but we will get better as the guys become better suited to Harvs game plan.

If there are people who are seriously wondering if they still want to support Fremantle, maybe you should just leave. You obviously can't handle some hard times. I look forward to seeing you back next year.
