Battle of the Boards
I notice the Eagles newest board member is copping a lot of criticism for not having the faintest idea about what she is doing in her day job. Hard to believe, I know. Worse still, there are a few cynical types who are suggesting that this lack of knowledge might also extend to her role with the West Coast Eagles.

Now, I understand that our newest board member likens herself (and is unable to dispute this allegation on Dockerland as per various corporate agreements that the club holds with Tesltra) to Julia Gillard.

I propose a televised debate between the two ladies on the various merits of Hill v Naitanui (and possibly Rich), which side has recruited best in the draft period and addressed the specific needs, going forward, to meet the lofty expectations of their members and predictions of their coaches (by the way, thanks Woosha, haven't stopped laughing all day).

Obviously it's a winner takes all situation with Docker Dave replacing Kate, should she lose, and Fat Daniel getting Julie's spot should she fail to compete at an adult level.

Re:Battle of the Boards
She is a fellow Harvard Business school graduate as she points out!! Maybe her and The Colonel can get together and talk about their 8 week Harvard University (life-changing) experience.

Re:Battle of the Boards
Kate would lose a bit in the mad eyes category, I reckon...

but regain the advantage in the really cool chick to have a beer with category.

I imagine.

Re:Battle of the Boards
Let's face it - even Docker Dave could give Julie an intellectual pasting that would be stopped with the first verb used.

Re:Battle of the Boards
Julie's probably got this pegged as a 'battle of the broads' thread, which she'd no doubt think means mud wrestling.

I'd say that she fancies her chances.

'Mud wrestling', after all, gives her a 50/50 chance of identifying the verb.

Re:Battle of the Boards
this seems like deja vu because i was just on a flying HIGHER website and Julie of Nedlands has written the same thing, but with daylight savings her posting times are a bit behind
