The Hackdorn
And this clown wonders why we didn't show up to his party

Apparently Big Knockers will become the next Judd. No bet like a sure bet, eh, Haggers? You freak. How often last year did you write that Freo were gay and weak and useless and being taken for a ride by that flibbertygibbet strumpet Pavlich, with his bags packed for Adelaide and huge Croatian nose for a better bargain?

I call you out now as the single worst football journalist in the country.

And in a field that includes such pondscum as Michelangelo "Teal Lips" Rucci and Greg "Stonewash" Denham, that takes some doing.

You are a clown, Kim. Kim the Crazy Clown.

This year I propose that we keep tabs on Hackdorn's ongoing freakshow - in this thread. Each time he offends you with his halfbaked, half-arsed hatchet jobs, post it in here. His most outlandish, puffed-up act of buffoonery will earn him The Hackdorn, a custom-made medallion that I am cunningly fashioning out of a trumpet mouthpiece and a cat's rectum as we speak.

At season's end we'll have a back-slap-a-thon, awarding The Hackdorn at the culmination of the evening and we'll see if the talentless liar bothers to rock up to that party.

Sorted. Hagwatch it is.

Cat's Rectum? Bit prestigious for Haggers isn't it?

Fair go, it was probably a rush job after spending the week writing the 12 page spread on Chad Fletcher...Skills Perfectionist.

Oh yes he is. I would suggest that Mish has used a fair level of understatement.

Re:The Hackdorn
Is it really Digby Hackdorn? I noticed that the Eagles loss to us was a "pitstop" whilst they had a "triumph" over Carlton, and where was "undermanned dockers"

Mish

Well said. Your ability to put into words exactly what goes through my purple mind is astounding. I'll buy you a beer one fine day.

Having also glanced at this article whilst carefully trying to sidestep the double page spread on Feltcher (NO I didn't buy the rag, I get the cost reimbursed to me) I felt exactly the same rage.

Re:The Hackdorn
Was it his article on the weekend, giving Pavlich advice about where he needs to position himself if he wants to be successful? He was second in the Coleman by a couple of kicks, and Hagdorn thinks he should change his positioning. Please!! Kim keep your advice to struggling players.

And apparantly Seaby is the next best thing??? and Warnock is going!! This whole thing about Warnock is just creating stories for future quiet weeks during the footy season. Fortunately while the spotlight is on a Docker (Pav) its been an E-girl that leaves (Judd).

Great idea for an award.

Re:The Hackdorn
I read the Warnock article and couldn't believe how out of left-field it was ...

Whats most disturbing about it all is that Haggers (and others) don't even try and hide their bias anymore. Apparently everything wet toast is wonderful, everything Freo is rubbish.

Re:The Hackdorn
I guess Haggers and the Sunday Times/6PR/etc/etc group feel that little wee thing called 'credibility' means nothing in modern journalism - don't they get that they have to stand behind what they say?

Put your salary on the line Haggers with Warnock's future move - if he stays with the Dockers you head off to tend some forgotten rose garden somewhere (and spend the rest of your days pruning some shrubbery) while the rest of us get free beers for a month (or two) at the Sail and Anchor.

I throw down the challenge you hack....

Re:The Hackdorn
An emerging trend in WA football journalism, young Eagle destined for greatness and young Docker heading East. Formulaic.

Re:The Hackdorn
Big Knockers was pick 42. A stringbean only fit for playing centre in the Ethiopian netball team. Even still Haggers tries to make this sound like a really high draft pick - "the third round pick"!

Anyone wanting to discern Haggers' agenda - other than West Coast = good, Fremantle = bad - should have a look at who the player manager is for all these players Haggers is shining his flimsy little light on.

He's little more than a barrow boy for a bludger.

(And, David, you could be right. The article advising Pavlich to play closer to goal will probably be the winner. Here's a bloke who wins most of his ball by gutrunning his opponents into the dust and routinely kicks 70-odd goals a year doing so. He's a poofteenth away from winning the Coleman using his natural strengths - nous, huge tank and ability to kick straight from fiddy out - and some Z-grade cricketer reckons he'd be better off playing in the square. Where he actually does get outplayed in the stationary contests by blokes like Glass. Good thinking, Haggers.)

Re:The Hackdorn
I knew something was suss about the way the Hag's piece was nothing more than an exercise in trying to pump up the interest and price of a bloke that no one outside of Freo supporters would have heard of.

Of course if Warnock becomes a gun this year, he'll want to leave because why would anyone from the East want to play for Freo, once they shown the other teams they can play?

And Pav has only stayed because we keep playing him out of his natural position.

Thanks Hags, it's all coming together now.

Re:The Hackdorn
I think the Haggers award should from now on be known as "The Pearl Necklace" in honour of the ridiculousosity of his Article on Big Nockers. I think he'll cream it in. It will be a one horse race. He can even give it to himself.

Re:The Hackdorn
I wonder if Haggers actually believes that Judd left the Eagles because of the "East" factor and not because of some other well publicized off field incidents.

The Blokes run out of ideas when it comes to knocking Freo. "Pavlich out of position" i mean, COME ON.
