over the past two years The Brothers Lo and particualrly J-Lo have shown very solid form. J-lo equal leading goalkicker year before last J-lo with 30+ goals last year. Unfortunatly, poor T-Lo has been plagued by injuries. (although I do remember seeing T-lo to J-lo, J-Lo to goal, nothing but net.) When I read in the paper that J-Lo had been injured, I thought: "Here we go" But watching the game, T-Lo stood up. My first reaction ofcourse was "Who wanted to trade him...?" but thinking about it further, only one Lo seems to be at top form at any point in time. Is 1 Lo enuf? Was wondering what you learned people thought

Sox, not quite on topic, but I was interested to see T-L described as a small forward in the Sunday Times today.... comment was that the small forwards - TL and J Farmer were a bit of a handful for Richmond. Having consulted the Dockerland player profiles - he's 185 cm. Surely, in the interests of Journalistic integrity, we can't call that small? Dunno, just struck me as being a bit odd. TR

If I could wish anything for Troy it would be 1 injury free season. unfortunately the tenacity that he plays the game at seems to catch up with him. The hip & shoulder he laid on Sean Wellman in the Bombers game at Subi last year was as hard as any I have seen. I think Sean would agree,as had he hit him front on -he would have been in hospital with James. I love guts and all players like Troy and the team would love him fit and firing because he can play almost any position.

185cm is small for a key forward. QED.
It is my belief that T-Lo consistently burns with an incandesence brighter than oxidising magnesium at the start of the season, and extinguishes shortly thereafter. Maybe this year he'll get his combustion levels right.

Fair observation blocker. Wags form in the first few rounds last season was sensational (check the rnd 1 derby in particular) but I suspect injuries haven't helped his cause over the journey.
Tough, versatile, fearless & mad as a cut snake. If he was blessed with good skills he could be anything but given an injury free season he'll be more than handy for us.

you all know my opinions, maybe i am one that cheers for the underdog, (could explain questionable bets on horse races) but i think T-lo is a greater asset. Sure J has some good bits, as does T, and they both have bad bits. (bits = form, skills, runs without injury etc?). Consider the expenses of each of these brothers, and then ask, is the higher paid of the two worth that much more?
if these two were to go one-on-one, who do you think would come out on top? divided into the individual disciplines or not.
Does J-lo`s abilities and perfomances coincide with the fame and attention he gets? The extra pressure may not be something taht he likes dealing with.
Also, being in the shadow of his more recognised bro, T-lo will find himself not as heavily marked or as highly rated by opposition sides, thus allowing him to capitalise on some opponents who play too loosely on him.....

Now Now. It's easy to knock J-Lo when he isn't out there proving you wrong. leading goalkicker for the lads in 2001 *cough* *cough* and lets not forget hight. A good jumper gets tired, a tall bloke isn't gonna get any shorter as the night goes on, and J-Lo has some hieght to him. I agree that T-Lo has improved, and Liek I said, maybe we need only one lo at a time, But let's not get ahead of ourselves. J-Lo is a damn fine footballer.
