Shaunie in the circle?
Just watching the boys sing the song. Why was Shaun Mcmanus in the circle with Byron? Possibly last away game?

Re:Shaunie in the circle?
I think this will eventually revealed as the greatest scam on the journo's since Fine Cotton.

Shaun will play on forever, but the boys will be letting him lead them off the field, putting him in the song circle and planning mysterious Monday afternoon press conferences for the rest of the year so that hacks like Hackdorn will continually froth at the mouth with their exclusive inside story that gets proved wrong time after time.

Great work fellas

Re:Shaunie in the circle?
At Harve's press conference: 'Anything you want to know, just ask Byron - he's not shy' and also 'he's after his [Macca's] spot on the team'.

Ask him about Rhys Palmer and his dodgy knees.

Re:Shaunie in the circle?
Do you reckon we could get up a 'Macca' chant when we're a 100 points up next week?

Re:Shaunie in the circle?
Macca's retirement - if it's dinkum - is very timely. Word from Eyebrows late today is that the AFL is going to restrict the number of blonds in any team. They did a head (geddit?) count on our high-scoring boys and thought it was so unfair that we could beat the swarthy Power mob so easily.

Bringing back Pav will restore some balance, of course. I suggest we may have restrict the availability of peroxide.

Re:Shaunie in the circle?
If the Wiggles had brains, they'd get up the "Natanui" or "Rich" chant when we're 100 points ahead

I would have thought Natanui is a bit...um, not white, for the Eagles.

Re:Shaunie in the circle?
They do have brains, your holiness, they are, however, small and poorly formed. There are several indicators.
1. They need the words to their club song up on the big screen.
2. They think chanting 'SGIO' is cheering on their team.
3. They think their team is tanking.
4. They barrack for West Coast.

Re:Shaunie in the circle?
You reckon they're not white bread up the road, larkin? C'mon. They're still trying to make themselves comfortable about having Wirra in the team.

Re:Shaunie in the circle?
Whatever the reason it was a great gesture that lifted everyone's spirit. No one can belt out the song like him (with sweat, Gatorade and spit flying everywhere) - well done Macca.

"Shaun McManus, the heart and soul of the Fremantle Football Club, will play his last game on Sunday against West Coast in Carlton Mid Derby XXVIII."

Let's hope he goes down swinging
