Palmer did a fantastic job in the middle after copping a hit to the head early. You really couldn't ask any more of a kid in his second game. I just hope he continues on this path, not just for Freo's sake but also as ammo to get weazle supporters riled up.

KP and co, I started a topic the week before the start of the season calling for Palmer and possibly Mayne to play from the first game. The next week it was a topic defending the older players in the side and Harves decision to protect the youth from an away trip to the MCG against a top side in the Pies. I'm quite sure all those defending the decision would have been delighted with Palmer and Mayne, I know I am.
