Missus dragged me out to buy a new vacume cleaner yesterday. She got a tip that a major vacume cleaner retailer had a hot bargain. We got to the store walked in only to be confronted with posters of West Coast Fowls from one end of the store to other, what a horrifying shopping experience it turned out to be, parting with my hard earned money and giving it to a West Coast Yuppy Vacume Cleaner Salesman and being stared at by a couple of the towns well known cafe celebraties. Anyway !! Like all bad dreams I am looking at the bright side. Maybe Shane will allow us to post the names of "Freo Frendly" retailers on this site so at least one won't get ambushed such as happened to me.
Any comments or similar experiences ??

If you are asking us for our experiences on being dragged out by the Missus to purchase a suddenly urgent electrical appliance it could be an awfully long thread.

The place to go might be Rick Hart Electrical as he is the Chairman of the Dockers.

Not asking about the "A Missus Dragging Experience" just trying to support fellow "Freo Supporters" rather than a "Fowl Minded" one. As for shopping from his graciousness "Sir Ric" there is more to consumerism than Fridges Stoves and Microwaves. I wonder after the mess that Hatt and Mclean left us in whether being chairman of Freo is a pre requisite to being a good business man. Time will tell I guess.

Unless it's a trip to the liqour store or Reece Plumbing Supplies (Manager is a Docker but I don't hold that against him) I refuse to partake in any form of shopping. Definately up there with dishwashing and can only be described as 'Secret Womans business'.

Maybe we could help each other out and a few of these evidently "Freo Friendly" retailers could come on board Dockerland with some advertising. Therefore gaining great exposure and having direct support from Freo fans.

I'm tipping Shane would more than welcome the idea.
