Everyones fit ...dont look to bad does it?
Rotate Headland-Pav and it dont get any weaker.
Farmer JLo Medhurst
Waterhouse Croad Headland
Injuries and suspensions are just so important to Freo this year. I dont think our depth could handle too many ...if we can hold our list together until round 1. The return of JLo and Koops should give us some coverage come Round 3 and on.

From out of the back blocks has come TLo, he may be able to be placed in this rotation.

Medhurst might find it tough going the first couple of weeks because he'll become a key forward at least for some part of the games.
I'm standing by my call of TLo at full forward which you didn't seem too keen on a few weeks back Jim.
There's also the option of a forward line like this
Farmer Waterhouse Bell Toia Sandilands Medhurst
I like to call it the ants on a meat pie strategy. Cooky bombs it long to Sandilands, he brings it to ground and the little fellas pick it up and put it through the goals.

Croad is out for first two rounds for indiscretions at end of last year. So any ideas on a line up for first two rounds?

Cunningham Waterhouse Headland
I think we are a bit underdone for the first few rounds in the forward line..

I doubt Sandilands will be ready for Rd 1. He was exhausted half way through the game vs the Eagirls and did a super-Jenny Craig at Gero.
Adelaide and Sydney both have fairly small defences that like to run off you, so you either fight fire with fire and have a small fast forward line (the TLo idea might work - or maybe surprise everyone by putting Haselby or Headland at Full Forward) or stick a Mott or, if he recovers, Sandilands down there and tell him not to leave the goal square to conserve his energy.
My JLo,Koops and Croadless team for Rds 1 and 2.
GHD Headland Wiz TLo Waterhouse Haselby Macca Cook Cunningham Haddrill Polak Grover Parker McPharlin Hayden
Snake Pavlich Bell

You are allowed to pick 8 on the bench this early aren't you?

Shane, I can't remember putting the slipper into TLo, but then I still dream of that period 82 - 84, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
TLo has over the last couple of years shown his form in patches, but the injuries have robbed him of any form of consistency. Maybe if his body holds together, he can become a really valuable utility player, plugging gags and adding much needed agression.
Another one out of the bag would be in the first game against Adelaide, if WC is playing, Toia could play on him, thus releasing someone like Polak to the forward line. Can you imagine Toia's gum flapping about spa's, toilets and your mates. WC would be heading for the interchange bench for some relief.

I want to go with the CHAOS theory - Clive Has All Opportunities to Score
F: Vacant CLIVE Vacant HF: Vacant Vacant Vacant
This will reduce the chances of him running in to anybody in purple, the voices in the head will be more compelling cos he's got to do it on his own and - he's up to it.
That, and it'll free up half a dozen midfielders.

Davo and the Popoe I can't believe you rate Cunningham better than GHD or Carr. That seems as odd as Sideshow Bob himself. So how I think they'll line up for Rd 1 against the Cows is:
F: GHD Waterhouse TLo HF: Farmer Headland Haselby C: Macca Cook Carr HB: Woods McPharlin Grover B: Parker Polak Hayden
Foll: Snake Pavlich Bell
Int: Sandilands, Haines, Walker Jones
If fit I think Jonesy will edge out Hadrill. And Clive at FF is risky because he has troouble kicking goals when he is close to them.
