The emotion of the day was huge. It showed on the players and it showed in the stands.

After the final siren Macca was swamped by his team mates around him and even some of the wc players paid their personal tributes to him but the emotions peaked when Macca headed towards the group of Freo played waiting for him in the middle of the ground. The players huddled around Macca and you could feel their emotions all the way into the stands.

It was a great just being there to experience it with them.
