Wonder when the Eagles' sponsers' ads featuring Judd will cease being shown?

The pure poetry of this is that the slimiest club in the history of the game, the club that wraps itself in a oily veneer of professionalism, that treats footy like a business more than any other, has lost their most decorated and talented player ever, and a premiership captain to boot. All due to a combination of what would amount to both desires to earn a little more, and to get away from what is really the most rotten club culture in the land.

In one play, Chris Judd has slapped a wholly unprofessional club with the most ruthless business move ever in footy history.

Karma.

Its not just an oily veneer of professionalism that they wrap themselves in either.

Does any other club soak their players in olive oil before games and after half time?

Some of the e-girls look like they should be entered in a slippery pig contest - as the pig!

Lets hope he goes to Collingwood so the slime can't jump ahead of us at the draft.

Whoever gets him will have to give up too much for a player we've seen the best from.

I feel more sorry for my mate though as he named his dog Juddy.

Lets hope the Weagles play hard ball and can't organise a trade in time and he goes to Richmond in the pre season draft and they get nothing for him

Sure Judd is a high performance vehicle - but the previous owner has driven him in to the ground. The gearbox is rooted - the mechanics don;t even know where to start. Judd and a 3rd rounder to Carlton for Fev, and the toast would still be getting a bargain.

It was the beginning of the end for the Toasters and Juddy when Woos dragged Beloved Benny Boy up onto the dias to hold aloft the tainted premiership cup. The final nails were being banged into the coffin upon Benny's return, the adulation and cheers everytime his drug addled mug appeared anywhere.

Their blind love for Benny Boy has driven away their best ever player.

And I couldn't be happier about the whole mess.

juddy now saying that he made up his mind to leave the club in 2005!

I like the follow-up that he arrived at work to find that they'd already disabled his entry pass. What do they think - he'll steal the stationery? Spiteful and vindictive.

Most blokes get their managers to hawk them to other clubs while they're still under contract. Which has always been kind of distasteful.

But the sight of Juddy wandering around Melbourne with a card board sign that says 'need work. Will consider anything over $1.2m year,' is knd of funny. And funny that Matthews finds it distasteful. Has he not done a trade week before?

If you had just escaped what Judd has, you'd be very careful about your next move too.

I think Leigh Matthews finds Judd's actions distasteful because of Mal Michael. Last year, if I remember right, Mal Michael told Brisbane he was retiring, and then put himself in the pre-season draft.

If only Juddy would have done that....
