The last really glam thing to come out of WA was Megan Gale. Now there is absolutely no humour in that comment (as per most of my posts) but I bet most of you are salivating at the mention of her name. In addition, Trent and Megan would look great together on a poster -- especially stripped down and buffed up. Something there for everyone. Hows his Italian?
I would have no problem calling Trent "Megan", or the Italian translation of her name which is "Megan" -- as long as it was from the stands and not to his face.
Les Gock comparable to Peter Bell. Get real. Belly can probably play guitar heaps better than Les could most of the time he was with Hush. He did go on to become quite accomplished. Les that is.

I'm no student of 70's pop, but I think Christie Allen was a two hit wonder. The other 'hit' was called an uptempo number called, "He's my Number One". I only hope that Trent has more than one hit - as I figure it, he's one hit last year was 7 goals at home versus Melbourne (two if you count the swinging arm against the Cows).

Didnt she sell out and "Tilt her Torino" as a rehash of the #1 song to move a few pallets of the fizzy drink???
"Torino" Croad.

Christie Allen was the Countdown female artist of the year one year - and she was from Albany. That makers her Albany's biggest ever rock star. I know that she still lived down there 10 years ago, 'cos I went to a basketball wind-up in Augusta and the entertainment was a girl from Albany called Christie Allen. She sang and her husband played guitar. Well imagine our surprise when we arrived and it was THE Christie Allen. She played all her songs (at our request) - twas a great night indeed. Apparently, her first husband was a bit of a bastard and she chucked in her career to disappear for a while to avoid him. Maybe she could do something with the Freo theme song... Goosebumps Dockers style: "They give me soft bumps, mongrel punts, They make pulse race jump, they fry my brain and make me tear out my hair, They give me heartbreak, for god's sake, I shiver and I shake, Eight years without finals is just too much for me to bear..." I really need AFL care,

I always think of him as Toadie. Got a bit of that calling a big bloke tiny kind of thing.
How about you write an article about that David Reed?

You'll be glad to know that "He's my Number One" by your fellow Albanian is available on Kazzalite. Three users no less.

I dont even understand what your posts was about but i understood the waxing the legs part. I have seen Trents legs upclose and they are very smooth and i dont just think its for modelling. Not many of the other players wax there legs. About the nickname too, I think just Croady will do fine.

Just out of curiosity, my was Mum wondering whether Craody got a tattoo?
She pointed this out to me after he kicked one of his goals, as when he lifted his arms to celebrate with the boys, there was this 'tattoo-like-shape' underneath.
I was just wonderin if this was true or not.

Lets adopt the B Gees forward line. All thats missing in the glamour boys who play up forward is the medallions. Barry Croad, Robin Medhurst, Maurice Jlo. Ha Ha Ha Ha kicking a goal, were kicking a goal.

I really don't like Croad but I guess I will have to get used to him (look on the bright side at least he didn't come from the eagles)
I haven't come up with a name and I'm not trying to bag mission man but Supernaught isn't the best name. You should try something like "The Beast".

I don't really like what Croady's all about either. Nicknames, tattoo's, modelling stunts and rumoured liasons with has-been Jo-Bent (i mean Beth). Is this all Freo supporters are happy with him being? Is he really as good as everyone says he 'can be'? I think he's a damn average player. I'm sick of Mr Potential-in-waiting.

I dont rate croad very highly and think he rates himself a little too highly. He hasnt shown enough determination or hard at the ball attitude he needs to.

I rate Croady VERY highly, he has great fitness, speed, agility, a long kick and great leap. he does need to work on his contested marking but other than that hes got the making to be a very good player

Maybe the secret is for us to wear Hawthorn guernseys in the crowd, so Trent continually thinks he has to prove something to ex-teammates in the crowd. Or maybe Shane Crawford masks would have the same effect.
Cynical I know, but worth a thought.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a Croad fan, except for his work with Jo-lag Taylor. He can play. Just has no idea of percentages. Compare Perrie on Saturday night and Croad last season. Who is the better footballer? Croad by around 50 furlongs. (And I don't want to talk about my punting, thanks. Buckley, where were you last weekend?) If Croad lead to position and marked like a no-name he would kick six each week with Fremantle circa 2002/3. But he feels the urge to go for the big early fly, or put himself into 50:50 (or worse) contests. Save it, son! It is like watching a mirror image of a one-dimensional full forward. Instead of kicking goals the hard way, pick up some easy ones AS WELL and take some pressure off yourself. I'm sure the spaniard is working on putting you through the looking glass, and when he does, Fremantle will be a better side for it.

trent by 10,000 metres for those metrically minded. trent by 10 clicks for those south freo supporters. trent by the run between the swim and the cycle for idiots.
