Well the Sheriff isn?t setting any records but he is hanging in there and that?s what matters. After an average start last Friday night he pushed his way through the field to get up and grab 3rd placing in his race at Mandurah. It?s safe to say the old Sheriff was doing his best work at the finish as he was taking ground off the leaders. So after clinching 3rd the Sheriff leaves Mandurah and heads back to Cannington Central this Saturday night. He has continued his recent lucky run of good box draws coming up with the two alley, a box of which he has never been beaten from at Cannington. The Sheriff is going to need to improve drastically on recent runs to be a serious winning chance but he boxed well and could get a cheap run in behind Evil Deeds in the one box, who looks to be the likely leader. The dockerland Racing Syndicate looks set for a big 2007 with a number of projects on the cards. A bit of improvement and a bit of luck for the Sheriff could see him put us on the right track early. Sheriff Austin Saturday 6th January Cannington Greyhounds Race 4 No.2 8.05pm As always there will be a few of the dockerland crew out there so anyone is welcome to head out to Cannington and get involved. |
