Rick Hart turns 30 | Print |

Yes it shocked me too. Rick Hart has turned the big 30. I could have sworn he did that over 20 years ago. But then I found out it’s the Rick Hart business and not the bloke who has hit thirty. It’s November and its celebrations, or rather sellebrations, at all Rick Hart stores. Rick himself is doing the Limbo with his prices. You wouldn’t believe how low he can go. When some one told me, I didn’t believe it until I saw it for myself.

The sales staff is of world class and they know the ins and outs of all products and what suits you best. This is how good they are. I purchased a big bugger of a wide screen TV from them. I had no idea which one to go for or which brand. The salesman took a few notes and said this is what you need. The next thing I know my lounge room is that good I’ve got Hoyts standing over me putting pressure on me to shut down. I kid you not, well maybe just a fraction, I watched several Freo games this year that I recorded on the Rick Hart DVD recorder. In real time we may have lost the match but when you watch it back on the sensational DVD recorder, we deadset made the final eight.

But in all seriousness apart from just the home entertainment products, Rick Hart this month is going crazy. If you need anything and even if you don’t, then this is the month to get in and get it. Before December hits every Rick Hart store is in party mode and the prices reflect it. Rick Hart is a big supporter of dockerland so if you go in and drop the secret dockerland code, which is “dockerland” which is not really that secretive, then the mail is that there could well be a little something extra off the top as a sweetener for all dockerlanders.

I’m starting to wonder about Rick Hart, if he’s actually all there. I mean you’re supposed to receive gifts when it’s your birthday, not give them. The bloke has gone mad! He’s virtually giving everything away to anyone who enters the store. But that’s the Rick Hart nature. He is all Hart.
