Have your say on how the Dockers players performed on the weekend by rating each player from zero to five or just pop in and have a look what everyone else had to say about the team.

Rate The Players: v St Kilda
RicDoc Jun 20 2008 15:46:02 This thread discusses the Content article: Rate The Players: v St Kilda
Seems as though we just lack the drive that wins games. Saints had no chance if we played like we did last week. I hope the boys find the drive that it takes before I lose faith & give away my membership! |

pavlooo Jun 20 2008 15:55:56 Schammer's disposil is a major concern. He wins alot of the footy but his use is poor. We really miss Haselby in the middle tonight

Placekick Jun 20 2008 16:05:12 Jeff is the Wiz and Riley Dunn should be called the Magician - best disappearing act I've ever seen. Was he off the ground most of the night? Apart from his two possessions I'm not sure if he even laid a tackle. He should be given a go but he just seems overawed at this level.

esquilax Jun 21 2008 01:19:46 I disagree about Schammer. Along with Palmer he's sometimes the only player you see going in for the ball on the ground. He must get hit hard every game.
There was the usual clanger disposal, but ultimately we didn't have a plan to defeat the flood. It made for ugly football. |

rogerrocks Jun 21 2008 05:37:08 Schammer's last couple of games have been better. Hopefully there will be one game soon where he doesn't slip over....

ICONDOCKER Jun 21 2008 06:18:20 Schammers role in the centre maximises his in and under ability and does not highlight (to the same extent his poor disposals)What was Bellys role this week?

Re:Rate The Players: v St Kilda
Placekick Jun 21 2008 08:24:40 I'm not sure that falling over counts as in and under. As much as I admire Schammer's endeavour (and he has improved) he has to have more impact on the game. And once again Josh got caned in the first quarter and had his usual 15 ordinary disposals. He seems to have lost what pace he had - and also can't stand up. Maybe our midfielders weren't wearing long stops last night. Palmer and Ibbo were good, and Mundy used every possession to good effect. Easily his best game for the season.

matt55 Jun 22 2008 04:41:41 the boys tried their hearts out in the last quarter, i feel like we were the best team most the night but we just couldnt beat the tsunami they sent at us. we just dont have what it takes at the moment to win the close games but they will learn and then look out AFL. brett peake had a really good game running off half back and he used the ball pretty well i thought and has been running and bouncing again like he used to, good to see!!
