While other teams are distracted with trivialities like Brownlow Medal nights and Grand Finals, Fremantle have been hard at work with the important things - like signing up young players. So it's great news to hear that they have re-signed Brian Peake's kid for a further two years.

It may have been a mix up at the travel agent, but to sweeten the deal, Peakey has decided to spend his holidays hanging out in the gym with the goal of putting on 3 kilograms. Unfortunately this didn't impress Chris Connolly at first, who can put that much on at a buffet, but when it was explained to him that Peake would be putting on muscle, the Freo coach was much happier.
