After a record breaking season in 2006, all your dockerland favourites will be back for what promises to be a massive 2007. We want to wish every dockerlander all the best for 2007 and we hope you’ll all come along for the ride to September when we take the cup off those imposters currently in fraudulent possession of it.
We’ve got some big things happening this year and all will be unveiled at the appropriate times. But as always competitions will be back, Greyhounds WA big nights out will be won and the dockerland flashing anchors will be back again flashing like crazy. The Sail and Anchor are on board again for 2007 and they have some super things going on down there this year for us all. The dockerland Racing syndicate will be unveiling a new sensationally named possible superstar that will send each and every member to stardom status and ensure the cup from Western Shootout III later this year will remain in the unbeaten hands of all dockerlanders.
If you think that’s where it ends then you best be thinking again. Rick Hart has jumped straight back into dockerland and as you read this they are putting together a super duper VIP night the likes of which have never been seen. It will be one hell of party and everyone is invited.
Norm Bernhardt and his sensational Carbiz Autos has kindly come to dockerland’s aid and thrown his support behind us again for 2007. We needed Norm’s expertise on board because the dockerland Kingswood is deadset in desperate need of some Carbiz Auto tinkering. It’s nearly at the state where it can only be driven by Fred Flintstone and its just holding together thanks to 800 Docker stickers. Norm will have it done up and we’ll be back doing dockerland bog laps in Freo very soon.
Stay tuned for some very big news regarding everyone’s favourite superstar dockerlander. We will be looking for the support of all dockerlanders to help get a certain musical project up and running. More news very soon!
So that’s just for starters and we’ve got the most important part still to come. The football! The reason we’re all here, the reason we get out of bed and the reason for purely existing! We’re beginning to get that edgy feeling. This is our year and the iron is hot. Chris “Razzamatazz” Tarrant up forward with the Pav. Dean “You always pay less at” Solomon to join Creepy Crowley, Josh Car and Steven “One Melee” Dodd on the roughing up and niggling tactics. McPharlap down back, Mundy with a further year now under his belt, Sandilands has grown taller and is now 8ft, Hasleby’s back is back, and the Wiz… well what more needs to be said than The Wiz!
All aboard the purple train! We’re going to have a huge year and you do not want be left out. It’s going to be a cracker of a season and we’ll be having more fun than a dust up on an Attadale footpath!
