Wednesday night the 18th April is the big night. The night we’ve all been waiting for. In recent weeks every time you turned the TV on, there was the stunning and talented Jordo right before our very eyes. We heard the songs and we witnessed the supposed controversy. Now finally we will get what we’ve been so desperately and patiently waiting for. We’ll get to see and hear her and band live belting out the purple sounds of that magnificent album, Real Men Wear Purple.
It’s going to be a cracker of a night. This is what being a Fremantle supporter is all about. Fans in difficult times getting together in Fremantle, packing out the most Fremantle of Fremantle pubs, the Sail and Anchor Pub Brewery, supporting a fellow passionate Fremantle Docker fan singing a bunch of original Fremantle Docker supporting songs.
Any other team’s supporters in the competition just couldn’t understand. If you’re a West Coast supporter and you had lost a game on the weekend, you wouldn’t be down at the pub with other supporters singing West Coast songs in support of your team. You’d have the yellow pages out and you’d be looking for the Wildcats Membership phone number! Only Fremantle Docker fans understand what it’s about and only Fremantle Docker fans will ever know the true experience.
As we all know this is a fantastic album purely for Docker supporters. We want as many dockerlanders as possible to come down to the Sail and Anchor Pub Brewery Wednesday night to enjoy this unique night and get involved. By getting involved I mean genuinely getting involved. We want punters to come down and be led by Jordo into a booming rendition of Jlo’s Nightmare.
