Fremantle In Crisis Mode | Print |

Despite a relatively successful pre-season campaign, Fremantle have been thrown into crisis after the Cousinsgate scandal broke involving the West Coast Eagles captain. After news broke of Ben Cousins indiscretion last week, the Carr brothers have had to be sent from the training track and are not expected to return before the opening match of the NAB Cup.

Josh Carr was seen foaming at the mouth once he heard the news while Matthew had to be revived after going into an epileptic fit. Both players have been put under psychiatric watch as they try and cope with the excitement of getting to tag Cousins in the upcoming pre-season Derby.

dockerland understands that Josh has been put into the care of David Boon who will help him focus his energies over the next week coming up with sledges for Cousins. Rumour has it that Matthew left Perth yesterday afternoon for England where he will meet up with Dr Phil Tufenell for a three day intensive course of winding people up.

Both players have been given the week off by Chris Connolly to work out how they will approach their sledging on Sunday afternoon. They have, however been given KPI's by the coaching staff and should their abuse not be up to scratch they may find themselves sledging in the WAFL come the start of the season.
