dockerland Punting Returns for 2006 | Print |
Written by Greg

It’s that time of the year again. You know the one, when you have to ask yourself ‘is it right to take money from the Project Compassion money box even if you know you’ve got a dead set cert?’ Just because a kid doesn’t have any food or water, doesn’t mean he wants you to pass by a chance to make a bit of easy money.

Thankfully, as with most of the great moral questions, dockerland has the answer. The dockerland punting competition gives you the chance to back all those sure winners without depriving the third world of your loose change. Best of all, if you can't pay we don't send someone around to your house to break your thumbs.

Greyhounds WA have joined in on the punt this year and put up five big nights out for two at their world class restaurant as prizes for the legendary dockerland punter of each round. Get involved in the 2006 chop up and throw a few dockerland Dollars around and you could enter the illustrious dockerland Punting Hall of Fame. We’re led to believe that winning a round of the competition is real door opener all over the world.

The practice round of the Greyhounds WA dockerland Punting Competition kicks off this weekend. It will run over the semi finals and the grand final of the NAB Cup purely as a refresher course for the old dockerland punters taking part and an introductory for the new breed. So have a read of the rules, sign up, get an account, start doing the form and begin punting your dockerland Dollars. Get a feel for what is required to make it with the best. More times than not your best probably isn’t required but load up anyway.

Those who participated and enjoyed last year will remember the dizzy highs and the devastating lows of winning, losing and turning over dockerland Dollar amounts that could pay off the national debt of a small country.

I think the majority of us are thankful we were punting dockerland Dollars and weren't having to go for our own pockets.

So all punters from last year and especially any new people to the site are encouraged to sign up and have a crack at it. Other than confidence and personal pride there is absolutely nothing to lose.

Important: You will have to re-register for 2006

The dockerland Punting Competition will be run over the NAB Cup as a trial basis so everyone can again get familiar with it and the newcomers can get the feel for what's required. When the home and away season cranks up, so does the competition for real.

As yet again it is free to all to enter, run don't walk to the nearest dockerland Punting Competition link, sign up and get punting.
