A few years ago Gerard Neesham and some of his mates got together for an over catered barbie to discuss the future of WA footy. One of the issues on the agenda was membership of the local teams and after a bit of pressure the WAFC said they'd look into it. In 2001 the FreoMob formed to give them a hurry up and after a constitutional re-write the members at Freo have now got to vote on the board.

Being the first ever member elected to the FFC Board, I surrendered re-election for a further term last year believing we needed a football brain. Having supported Ben Allen's successfully election, I am now more passionate than ever about our football club and seek re-election as a members appointee.

During my time on the Board I always looked after members interests and was grateful to be seen as a Director members could call anytime. In addition to other achievements I proposed the 10 years of Passion campaign, brought the jumper presentation back to the people and was instrumental in memberships being processed before Christmas.

My loyalty and dedication to the FFC and its members drives me to seek re-election so as to both cement the gains our club has made and see it become a true long term AFL power on and off the field.
