Carr Misconducts Himself | Print |

They've done it again. The Anti Fremantle League, operating under the name AFL Match Review Panel have stitched up Josh Carr to the tune of 3 weeks for an offence so soft that lawyers from Netball Australia have issued a release stating that they will take legal action against anyone who dares compare the sport of AFL to netball again.

Carr, a good Catholic boy who's family, ie Matthew, is a well respected Fremantle philanthropist, was caught up in another of the Match Review Panels 'misconduct' accusations which seems to cover anything from slitting your opponent's stomach open with a knife all the way down to wearing a purple jumper on a day ending in the letter Y.

Gary Ablett Jr, son of disgraced Geelong player Gary ABlett Sn, was seen diving to the ground in the vicinity of Josh Carr on Friday night's Anzac Day tribute match, and an umpire 60 odd metres away decided to log it in his book. Footage clearly shows that Ablett had time to look for the softest umpire in the vicinity to plead too, as he hurled himself to the ground.

The "misconduct" offence was deemed to be worthy of a two week panlty but, because Josh Carr has been the victim of such outragous attacks from the AFL in the past, his record pushes the figure out to a ridiculous 4 weeks. If he lays down and accepts what has been dished out to him, he can reduce the penalty to 3 weeks. If he stands up for himself, and the dignity of Aussie Rules Football, he could be out for the next month.

In other tribunal news, serial assaulter and convicted prescription forger, Daniel Kerr was suspended for the same number of weeks for an unprovoked headbutt on Scott West, the closest thing the AFL has to Jesus.
