Fremantle have suspended Chris Tarrant for one week (the bye doesn't count) for getting into some trouble up in Darwin. Also thrown into the package is a $5000 fine and a two week suspended sentence if he gets into any trouble again before the end of 2008.

Fremantle supporters are expected to lodge a petition to the AFL that they are never ever fixtured to play in country towns like Darwin and Launceston.
