In recall news:
The entire Brisbane fleet has been recalled. The slightest bump results in an immediate trip to the panel beaters.
The Melbourne fleet has been returned to the roads, the problem of having an undersized motor fitted has hopefully been resolved. Time will tell.
The late in the journey persistent engine misfire problems which plagued last year's North Melbourne version appear to have been sorted out. Motorists are, as always, reminded to beware of the ancient compact version (Camira) which continues to clog up the motorways.
The sooner this old rust bucket is dumped into the nearest wreckers yard compactor the better. Fortunately its constant whining can be heard from a mile away and alert motorists should have no difficulty avoiding it.
The early teething problems with the GWS version are nearly resolved and motorists are warned that this model, with its predominantly P plate drivers at the wheel, will be a menace on the highways for years to come.
The Slime Range Rover version continues to be a problem. Buyers are reminded that whilst it travels well on down hill runs, it has great difficulty negotiating anything resembling an incline. Owners are advised not to attempt to overtake any 18 wheelers as this model will definitely NOT go past the semis.
