Morgan if Stephen Hill had the luxury of debuting in a Freo side such as we have now, I think he would have accelerated his development by several years. Simpson has a chance to play his game without the pressure and expectations that seemed to swamp Hilly at times. There are many other high draft picks going around who at the moment are nowhere near Hill in output., but it has been a hard road for him due to the unfair criticism of his style of play.
He was drawing one of the top taggers every week, and having to literally carry them along with him. Simpson comes in as a forward/mid who is going to be 5 or 6 on the opposition list of who do we tag this week, and he can carve up mid range taggers any day.
