Of the Demolition Derby of 2000.
Good articles in the Sunday times reminding us of the great game. In my opinion the best derby ever. Kickett you legend!!

Ban cost me life membership at Fremantle': Dale Kickett

Are there any rules in place preventing the club from handing out a Life Membership for a player who didn't quite meet the game requirements? I can't think of another Freo player who would deserve it more than Dale Kickett and it obviously would still mean a great deal to him now.

Dale Kickett deserved life membership for that alone. He was a great player during a pretty lean period. He fought it out every week.

Definitely a case for retrospective admission.

I agree - he absolutely deserves it - I was quite saddened by the article, and he must be reminded of it every derby - twice a year!! The club should make him an honorary life member!
