It’s taken the full 2 weeks to settle him down but Fremantle have finally managed to becalm Kung Fu Fyfe after he snapped and went berserk on the Gold Coast’s Michael Rischitelli in Round 2. Some have queried the vicious Fremantle midfielder’s automatic return to the side, suggesting he’s a ticking time bomb that could explode at any moment, sending yet another unsuspecting opposition player to the bench with a small cut. Never one to be cautious, Ross Lyon has decided to run the gauntlet anyway and play Fyfe. Chris Mayne is also back after hurting his ankle against the Hawks (certainly not through too much kicking) and will be a handy edition to the forward line with Michael Walters off for leg surgery of some kind (the club are keeping pretty tight lipped about these things nowadays) and Matthew Pavlich still trying to scrape all of the Essendon defenders off of his back from last week. Josh Simpson has paid the price showing far too much enthusiasm last week and will be back at Peel while Ross Lyon didn’t like Hayen Crozier’s haircut.
