Fremantle midfielder Anthony Morabito has suffered another injury scare, going down with a left knee problem at training last Friday.
Morabito had been sidelined with concussion but was due to return to Peel Thunder at the weekend before the latest setback.
While the club is yet to confirm the severity of the injury it is unlikely that the 20-year-old will play senior football again this season.
The midfielder underwent a reconstruction on the knee after rupturing his ACL in 2010 and has suffered a number of soft-tissue problems in his bid to return to senior football at Fremantle.
Dockers general manager of football operations Chris Bond said Morabito had an MRI scan on his knee and will see a specialist later this week.
