Nat Fyfe's shoulder has been upgraded from 'buggered' to 'rooted' after he dislocated it again at training so the surgeon has been given the nod to go in with the knife and the prongy things to try and fix it up properly this time.
The operation will put Fyfe out for 12 weeks which could see him back for the finals although there is no indication whether that is 12 weeks in actual time of 12 weeks in Fremantle time, which generally works on a 1:3 ratio when injuries are concerned.
The Rookie listed blokes have been doing well to keep a concerned look on their faces but Jordan Wilson-King and Sam Menegola will be quietly working for the much coveted Fyfe locker should he be added to the long term injury list.
