The Clinton Wolf medal is a prestigious award given out by Dockerland.com to Fremantle's fairest and best player for a season, as judged by the Dockerland.com judging panel. The medal itself is yet to be forged but sometime during the season I will head down to the train tracks with a bottle cap from some of the most expensive domestic beer I can find.
Clinton Wolf was one of Fremantle's favourite sons, in his illustrious 4 games for Fremantle he amassed 12 kicks and 14 marks. His lightening dashes through the centre circle were legendary and his silky smooth skills were surpassed only by his toughness at the ball. Perhaps what he will be remember for most, is his acquittal at the tribunal using the defence "I was too uncoordinated to avoid the bloke". |
